What jewelry tools do I need to get started?

Mixed Media Arts has put together a series to introduce the basics you need to get started. Don't be blinded by the beautiful coloured beads, that come in all shapes and sizes.

To begin, you need a few simple tools. Firstly you will need jewelry pliers - both pointy nosed and flat nosed. These will allow you to bend wire and jump rings. While they are an initial investment, you will use these everytime you sit down to add jewelry elements to your mixed media artwork.

To add eyelets to your work, you'll need a universal hole punch and an eyelet setting tool.
